SBCSAR performed a recovery operation for the victims of a plane crash deep in the Santa Barbara back country, near Big Pine Mountain. The operation was very difficult as the location was remote and access to the wreckage was prevented by thick chaparral. The operation was a success and the team performed very well, despite the challenging conditions.
