SBCSAR assisted with two teams on this particular day of the operation. One area dog team was airlifted near the summit to search some high probability ice chutes. The other area dog team slogged up the trail to the high sierra hut in the Mt. Baldy bowl to search some additional ice chutes. The photos below show the first team hard at work.
It's always nice to get a helo ride off the mountain at the end of the day!
